winter beauty favorites

These are some of my favorite makeup and skincare products. I have been using the Crème de Rose lip balm for years and love how it smells. It's perfect for protecting your lips from the dryness of winter. La Mer's moisturizers have also been a go-to for me this winter.
The YSL Blur Perfector can be used many different ways. You can use it as a primer, a foundation replacement or retoucher. It's very useful to have around.
NARS' illuminator is a great replacement for powdered highlighter. I love my highlighter compact but I find that at the end of the day I have highlighter in places I didn't put it. This is a liquid highlighter that I apply before my setting powder and spray so it stays in place while still giving the glowing effect.
All of my lipsticks are either YSL or NARS. I tend to go to NARS for matte lipsticks. The YSL Rouge Volupte lipstick is a nice dusty rose color and a little swatch of it goes a long way.Lastly, as I have said in previous posts, the Mario Badescu facial spray is so refreshing especially after a shower.
