These four products are what I'm relying on this spring. I'm going through a major no makeup phase right now to get ready for when summer comes around. I hate wearing makeup in the summer because of how hot it is! The Origins Rose Clay mask and the Glamglow Glowstarter I received in my Sephora PLAY! box last month, which I highly recommend getting a subscription to if you can snag an opening. Anyways... let me start telling you about these products!
Sunday Riley's Good Genes has really impressed me. I first tried a sample of it that I received after making an insane impulse purchase from Sephora. I immediately got hooked and had to have a bigger size. It really works to help my skin stay clear and it leaves my skin with a soft texture. It also seems to plump your skin a bit too. I use this in the morning after cleansing and at night after using the Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Oil. Good Genes is pretty expensive so I decided to get the Sunday Riley "#SquadGoals" set which included Good Genes.
I recently ran out of my Elizavecca Bubble Clay Mask so I needed a new clay mask ASAP. Thankfully I got the Origins Rose Clay mask in my PLAY! box... I usually use my clay masks in the shower while I let my conditioner sit in my hair and do my other shower business. When I take it off my skin feels smoother, which is what it's supposed to feel like. This is a retexturing mask and from what I can tell it works!
The Glamglow Glowstarter is a major staple for me right now. It's an illuminating moisturizer, meaning you can use it with other makeup or by itself. When I apply it by itself I like that it illuminates in all the right places. Natural light bounces off the places where one would typically apply highlighter. The consistency isn't thick and I barely notice I'm wearing it. I use this in the morning in my skincare routine as a moisturizer (the last step). Glowstarter really allows me to get the glowing look without having to apply real makeup, yay!
Finally, after months of hearing about KNC Beauty and Kristen Noel Crawley's infamous lip masks, I brought myself to buy a pack and try them out. Let me tell you... I've tried the Sephora lip masks and I was extremely disappointed. They were so thin and fragile! KNC Beauty lip masks are thicker and easier to apply, not to mention they are fun to wear and they show results. They leave your lips moisturized and plumped, also a great first-step before applying lipsticks.
